Are you looking for something fun to do in the half-term holiday? How about hunting dinosaurs in your local park?!
We're teaming up with Buckinghamshire Council to set up games on the Love Exploring app in the parks and open spaces we manage - and now visitors to two of our parks, Simmons Way in Lane End and Melbourne Road in Micklefield, can enjoy getting out and about as they track down Mega Mini Beasts or head out on a Dinosaur Safari using their phones.
The Love Exploring app gives our tenants and the wider community another good reason to explore the great outdoors right on their doorstep. The fun and simple interactive app is completely free to download and gives users access to a range of games to play and activities to do throughout the year, when visiting parks and open spaces around the county.
The Love Exploring app creates bespoke activities to bring audio mindfulness guides and augmented reality games such as Dinosaur Safari to local areas. The app is free and invites users to play games and take part in guided trails which include quizzes to get them hunting for clues as they explore the place they are visiting.
It’s not just families who can benefit, anyone can download the app and get exploring. There are activities for all ages and by taking part you can increase your activity levels without even realising it.
