  • Job Type: Full Time
  • Salary: £44,743
  • Interview Date: TBC
  • Closing Date: Tuesday 25 February 2025

About the role

The Project Manager will be part of a team driving business improvement. As the Project Manager you will lead efforts to enhance current processes, prioritise meaningful change, and deliver impactful business and technology initiatives. The role focuses on championing and delivering sustainable improvements to help the organisation reach its full potential through smarter ways of working and effective use of tools.

As the Project Manager one of your projects will be to manage the seamless relocation of our office from its current location to a new facility, in the same office park. You will oversee the entire process, acting as the primary liaison between our internal stakeholders and contracted vendors executing the move. Key responsibilities include coordinating timelines, ensuring proper handling of office assets, minimizing disruption to business operations, and maintaining clear communication throughout.

The project will progress in phases: pre-move planning, packing, transportation, setup at the new site, and post-move evaluation. Deliverables include a fully operational new office space, proper documentation, and a smooth transition for all staff and facilities.

If you want a role where you can have a real impact in improving the experience of our tenants and employees, take a look at the job description, complete our application form and send it to recruitment@redkitehousing.org.uk

Please note: We occasionally close vacancies early in the event we receive a high number of applications, so we advise you to submit an application as early as possible.

35-hour week pilot

Since June 2024 we have been piloting a change to our normal full-time, 37-hour 5-day week. Over 12 months we are trialling a shorter 35-hour week (for the same pay as before) where staff work a full day Monday to Thursday, and finish the working week at 1pm every Friday. It’s just a pilot at this stage while we evaluate its impact on our staff, our tenants, and the service we provide, but if successful we will consider a permanent move to this way of working in 2025.
