Gas Safety Week is here, with this year’s campaign running from 14th to 20th September and reminding everyone to take gas safety seriously.

The theme for this year's campaign is Take No Chances, encouraging people to act on any gas safety concerns and make sure their gas appliances are checked regularly.

At Red Kite, keeping tenants safe is our top priority. That's why we carry out annual gas safety checks in homes with gas appliances. These checks help make sure appliances are working safely and can identify potential issues before they become more serious.

If your annual gas safety check is due, please help us by allowing access to your home when an appointment is arranged. These inspections are a legal requirement and play an important role in protecting you, your household and your neighbours.

You can also help keep your home safe by knowing the warning signs of a gas problem, such as unusual smells, pilot lights that frequently go out or sooty marks around appliances.
