On Tuesday 15th September we held our Annual General Meeting (AGM), bringing together members, our Board, and colleagues to reflect on the past year and look ahead to what’s next for Red Kite.
Lucy Weston, who chairs our Board, Group Chief Executive Peter Cogan, and Ron Fowler, Chair of our Resident Representative Team, each shared an update on the year, highlighting some of the progress we’ve made as well as the areas where we know there is still more to do.
Members also had the opportunity to ask questions and share their views. It was a valuable opportunity to hear directly about some of the issues and experiences our tenants are facing.
Alongside the discussions, we also took care of the formal AGM business, including voting in our new Board members, Keith McLeod, Susan White, and Ben Denton, and approving our Annual Report - read the 2026 Annual Report
Overall, it was a really positive and honest meeting. It gave us a chance to listen, understand what matters to our tenants, and reassure members that we hear their concerns and are making progress in the areas identified for improvement.

Membership is free, open to our tenants and leaseholders, and gives you the chance to have your say on important decisions, get involved with our activities and help shape our services.
Membership is a way of working that was embedded by tenants when Red Kite was created, and is designed to ensure that tenants have a direct connection to decision-making at the highest level. It is written into our rules and prevents us from being able to make big decisions which would have an impact on tenants and communities, without having to pass it through the membership first.
