Have you ever thought about having a bigger say in how your home and services are run?
Red Kite is currently looking for a shared owner, tenant or leaseholder to join our Board as a Tenant Board Member, and we’d really love to hear from you.
We’re a tenant-led organisation, which means our tenants are at the heart of the decisions we make. As a Board member, you’d help shape the future of our homes, services and communities.
Your experience as one of our tenants, leaseholders or shared owners is incredibly valuable, and your voice could help make a real difference.
You don’t need to have been on a Board before. We’ll give you training, support and time to learn the role. What matters most is that you:
- Care about improving homes and services
- Are willing to share your views and ask questions
- Can work with others and think about the bigger picture.
The role involves around 2–3 days a month, including meetings and preparation. Board meetings are usually held in the late afternoon/early evening. You’ll receive £6,000 a year, along with training and support.
This is a great opportunity to:
- Represent the views of shared owners and other residents
- Influence decisions that affect your community
- Build your skills and confidence.
If you’re interested but not sure whether it’s for you, we’d still encourage you to get in touch for an informal chat. And if you don’t have a CV, that’s absolutely fine, we can support you with your application.
The closing date for applications is Monday 8th June 2026.
