Red Kite granted closure order at problem home

News
17 December 2019

On Monday 16th December, Thames Valley Police placed a full closure order onto a property at McLellan Place in High Wycombe following reports of antisocial behaviour (ASB).

The closure order means that no-one apart from Red Kite Community Housing, who own the home, or the police can enter the property for the next three months.

We worked collaboratively with Thames Valley Police to collect evidence within the local community which was then presented to Wycombe Magistrates on Monday morning, who endorsed the order.

Security screens have been fitted to all windows and doors to make sure it is secure and legal action is also well under way to repossess the property.

Janine Healy, Senior Antisocial Behaviour Specialist at Red Kite, said:

"Antisocial behaviour is not tolerated within Red Kite and together with the police, robust action will be taken against the perpetrator to ensure the safety of our communities."
