On Wednesday 27th May 2026, Red Kite colleagues attended Eid in the Park at The Rye in High Wycombe, with the aim of engaging with residents and demonstrate our continued support for the local Muslim community.
The event was organised by Wycombe Mosque and welcomed more than 1,000 attendees from across the local community.
During the event, we promoted our Starting Blocks and Springboard grants, connected with tenants to encourage membership and volunteering opportunities, supported completion of our ‘Knowing Our Tenants’ survey, and highlighted the current open Tenant Board Member position. We also had the opportunity to meet with both established and new partner support agencies.
We distributed candle votives, bookmarks featuring the 99 Names of Allah, children’s crafts, prayer cards with excerpts from the Quran, as well as halal sweets and iced water. These were all very well received, and it was wonderful to see families and the wider community come together to celebrate Eid.
