To recognise the valuable contribution made by our dedicated tenant volunteers, we recently hosted our annual Thank You event, bringing them together for a day of appreciation, connection and celebration.
On Wednesday 13th May we welcomed 57 attendees to Wycombe Heights Golf Centre for a Mad Hatter’s tea party-themed event. It was a fantastic opportunity to highlight the vital role our volunteers play in shaping services for all our tenants and supporting our communities.
Over the past year, our tenant volunteers have given an incredible 1,599 hours of their time. Their insight, experience and dedication continue to make a real difference across Red Kite.
Guests enjoyed food, entertainment and activities, including bingo and a table magician, creating a lively atmosphere while offering the chance for volunteers to connect and reflect on their work.

Long Service Awards were presented during the afternoon, recognising the ongoing commitment of our tenant volunteers and the difference they continue to make within the community.

Sophie Field, our Head of Resident and Community Engagement, said:
“Events like this are our chance to say a heartfelt thank you to our volunteers. The time, energy
and lived experience they share makes such a difference to Red Kite and our communities.”
The event also highlighted opportunities for more tenants to get involved, including our new Tenant Voice Panel.
