This week, on Wednesday 13th December, we held our office Christmas party where members of staff got into the festive spirit by wearing their best Christmas jumpers.
The office was filled with laughter, music, sweet treats and most importantly some festive kindness.
Colleagues brought in food donations for the local food bank One Can Trust, who offer essential support to many of our tenants, as well as monetary donations to support the cause.
We've got a permanent collection point for One Can Trust in the office and we were delighted to be able to give them some extra support at what is a very busy time of year for them.
Trevor Morrow, our Group Chief Executive, said: “Red Kite is always looking at ways to support the community, so staff wanting to give to such a vital local charity came as no surprise to me when it was suggested. One Can Trust does a brilliant job of helping local people and is a charity we are very proud to be able to partner with through our SpringBoard fund, donations and staff using their volunteer day to help.”
