Market rent is a rent which is set according to what other similar homes are being rented for on the private rental market. The market dictates the level of the rents at the time of letting.
Rent levels are set taking into account the size, condition and quality of accommodation, number of bedrooms, location of a property and its surrounding area.
These homes are let using a standard type fixed-term assured tenancy agreement.
