We're a resident-led, not for profit, charitable housing association and we own and manage more than 6,500 homes in the Wycombe District. Our residents and leaseholders are our customers and have an important role in making sure that we remain truly resident-led through everything we do.
We're a social landlord and do all the things you would expect us to do, but there is a lot more to us, including our new companies that have been set up to offer rents that are based on a person's ability to pay, build more homes and offer an estate agency service.
Our Group structure has been set up to deliver the big and exciting plans we have for the future. We have the financial resources to deliver and have a great innovative leadership and staff team to realise our goals.
The Red Kite Group is comprised of the following companies;
Red Kite Community Housing
Charitable company offering a range of social housing homes across the Wycombe district and is our core housing business.
The first company of its kind in our sector, and provides a fresh way of letting and managing homes. Twenty11 allows us to offer a fair housing solution, by tailoring rents to individual affordability and providing a model that allows customers at all income levels to develop and realise their own personal aspirations through dedicated help and support.
Allows us to develop private homes for sale and gift back surplus to support the delivery of greater numbers of affordable housing.
To realise the potential in our communities. Read about our corporate journey.
We cannot achieve our purpose alone or as individuals acting alone. We want to work with others who share our purpose and values. Our customers, volunteers and staff work together to achieve success.
We value everyone and seek to enable every individual to realise their potential.
We strive always to be the best we can, learning from our mistakes and celebrating our successes.
Our homes are mainly on estates in the urban centres of High Wycombe, Princes Risborough and Marlow, with others on estates in rural areas such as Lane End, Stokenchurch and Bourne End. We have a number of sheltered housing schemes which are located across the district.
Just like any other organisation, we work within a set of rules to make sure we do business properly. These business rules set out the framework for an organisation so that it works in line with the law and takes into account the legal obligations it has.
Read the Red Kite Community Housing rules.
We do not issue to the public, bonds or any other financial instruments to finance our spending, investment or development programmes.
