Resident Representative Team Chair Ron Fowler and Candida Dutiro, Tenant Board Member, represented Red Kite at a dinner on Friday 24th July held to celebrate the centenary of the Rotary Club of High Wycombe.
The special event marked 100 years of the Rotary Club serving communities across High Wycombe and brought together local organisations, businesses and community leaders to celebrate the club's achievements and impact.
During the evening, guests enjoyed a specially-produced video celebrating High Wycombe, featuring interviews with well-known local figures including James Corden and Tom Kerridge. There was also recognition of the important role family-run businesses play in supporting the local community.
One of the highlights of the evening was an address from The Countess Howe DStJ, Lord-Lieutenant of Buckinghamshire, who spoke about the importance of creating a culture of service and community support, values that have been championed by the Rotary Club throughout its 100-year history.
Reflecting on the event, Ron said:
"The Centenary Dinner was a fantastic experience and an eye-opening reminder of the amount of good work the Rotary Club of High Wycombe carries out across our community.
