Our tenant volunteer Ajmal recently went along to the National Housing Federation's Customer Experience and Resident Engagement conference, alongside a few members of staff.
The conference was a great chance for Ajmal to network with other housing associations and learn something new.
Ajmal is part of our Resident Representative Team (RRT). RRT is an essential group here and is made up of tenants that work together as a key partnership group with us. They're consulted on key service changes, help to shape decisions, and share recommendations for consideration with the Red Kite Board. Each member of RRT is committed to ensuring that we continue to deliver great services and that tenants remain at the heart of Red Kite so we can continue to be truly tenant-led. Ajmal was really keen to go along and said, "It's really interesting to hear how other housing associations engage with their tenants. I've got some good ideas that I'll be sharing with the rest of RRT."
