Environmental Improvement Group funding now open

Do you have an idea that could brighten up your neighbourhood or make one of our shared spaces more welcoming? Applications for this year’s Environmental Improvement Group (EIG) funding are now open, and we’d love to hear from you.

EIG is a group of tenants and staff who look after a dedicated fund for improvements that benefit Red Kite communities.

Recent EIG projects have included:

  • New benches, planters and bins to improve outdoor spaces
  • Seasonal bulb planting and colourful displays across our estates
  • Small improvements that protect and enhance green spaces, such as installing bollards.

The group meets regularly to look at applications and choose the ideas that will have the biggest benefit for local residents.

Head over to our EIG page to find out more about applying and see more about our completed projects.
