As part of our commitment to improving the environment around our newly-acquired homes on Maidenhead's Poundfield Estate, our Estates team were out litter picking in the spring sunshine on Wednesday (30th April).

This litter pick covered the area between Abingdon Walk and Hambleden Walk, and was organised as part of our ongoing commitment to maintaining and improving the communities where we operate. The litter pick saw team members donning gloves and high-visibility vests, and heading out across the estate armed with litter-picking tools and bags. Their efforts resulted in the collection of six sacks of rubbish, and the team also spotted several fly-tipped items which our contractors have been asked to remove and dispose of.

"We are thrilled with the positive impact we've made today," said Janine Healy, Red Kite's Estates Manager. "As we went round we stopped and chatted to residents who were all very pleased to see us. The Poundfield Estate looks so much better, and this effort clearly demonstrates what can be achieved through dedication and teamwork."

Our team will be back visiting the estate in the coming months for regular inspections, checking that communal areas are being maintained to a high standard and aiming to create a sustainable, clean, and green environment for everyone.
