On Thursday 20th March, we held our fourth digital training session for Red Kite tenants who need help using digital devices. The session welcomed 10 tenants into our Loudwater office, where they were supported by our digital trainer, David Bagley, from Age Concern, who specialises in helping people with digital inclusion.

Two of our tenant volunteers, Ron and Ajmal, who attended our first digital training session, also came along to help, which was appreciated by everyone.

One of the most popular parts of the session was demonstrating our website. We walked tenants through the site, showing them how to access important information. We also introduced the live chat feature, allowing them to speak directly with one of our relationship advisors. Additionally, we showed them how to report a repair using the website.
During the session, Sanjay our Digital Engagement Specialist, who heads up the innovative initiative, had the opportunity to speak with several tenants and discuss the benefits of volunteering with Red Kite. He’s scheduled follow-up calls with them to explore their interest in volunteering or becoming a member.
Sanjay said:
"It was heart-warming to see how much our tenants appreciated the session. One even took the time to send me a thoughtful email expressing her gratitude, which was incredibly rewarding. My goal with these sessions is to inspire our tenants to take their first steps into the digital world and highlight the benefits."

We hope to hold more of these sessions in future, so keep an eye out for any details.
