By The Friday Club

Using our Springboard grant, we were able to purchase new equipment, creating a more engaging and fun environment for children and young people who attend the community youth club in St Peters Church Loudwater.

The generous funding meant that we could purchase:

  • Three arcade machines
  • A skittle ball game
  • A basketball game
  • Craft materials
  • A games table
  • Pool cues.
Table Tennis

The new equipment led to increased attendance and created a vibrant, safe, and supportive space where children and young people can relax, have fun, and build friendships. They’re surrounded by positive role models and can participate in activities that promote personal growth.

Children described the arcade machines as “wicked” and “fun.” Youth club members found the games table “decent” and “enjoyable,” especially when competing with their youth leaders.

Games Table

By combining fun activities with strong mentorship, The Friday Club continues to provide a space where young people feel safe, valued, and engaged. We’re grateful to Red Kite Community Housing for believing in our project and investing in our idea.
