Red Kite supports community garden through Starting Blocks fund

Christ Church (United Reform Church) Marlow received £1,500 from our Starting Blocks fund for their Walk of Life project. The Walk of Life project aims to provide a community garden with attractive landscaping, a water bottle filling station, seating for people to enjoy the space, and a wheelchair-friendly path.

The money was used to replace the gravel with a brick paved path and a new seating area - making access easier for those with mobility issues and parents with prams.

Our Community Investment Specialist Nahida was invited to the opening of the garden and was delighted to meet a Red Kite tenant who attends the church. The Walk of Life is accessible to all and is a beautiful space right in the heart of where our communities live.
