Red Kite Community Housing is a Top 100 not-for-profit organisation to work for!
Red Kite has been nationally recognised as a fantastic place to work after coming in at number 80 in The Sunday Times Top 100 list which was announced on Wednesday 21st February.
In 2017 Red Kite was identified as one to watch so just a year later to have made the top 100 shows how it has excelled in creating a work environment that nurtures staff. This proves Red Kite is not only an excellent housing association, but also a leading employer.
Trevor Morrow, chief executive at Red Kite said:
"We're really thrilled to have been announced as one of the top 100 not-for-profit organisations to work for. We have always believed that in order to do the best for our customers, we need happy and well supported staff. The best thing about this accolade is that it is based on a survey of our staff and how they feel about working at Red Kite. We have achieved so much since we were formed in 2011 and to receive this recognition is confirmation that we are doing things in the right way.
"We will now look at the results and feedback and see what can be improved on as we don't want to become complacent. We always strive to move forward and be a leader, not a follower."
Each year The Sunday Times enlists the help of workplace engagement specialists Best Companies to celebrate the best companies throughout the country who, regardless of what they do, place staff satisfaction at their core.
The tough assessment consists of a staff survey and an organisational questionnaire that are designed to measure the organisation's performance through the eyes of their employees. Staff scored Red Kite with top marks in 8 key areas including leadership, well-being and personal growth.
The high-profile endorsement commends companies whose staff feel valued, believe that their work has a positive impact on the community, and enjoy great relationships with their managers and colleagues.
