We have been working together with Axis to install a patio area for the community at Totteridge Drive - and the project is finally finished!
The idea was first discussed when our Engagement and Volunteering team met with the residents in early 2015. After lots of collaboration between us, the residents of Totteridge Drive and Axis have been able to install a large patio within the communal grassed area for everyone to enjoy. The funding for this patio came from Axis's charity fund, meaning that it didn't cost our community anything.
The community at the scheme were very impressed with the professionalism of Axis and the communication they provided while they were working at Totteridge Drive. The community also were able to design and choose exactly what they wanted to have put down for their new patio, to make sure it was exactly what the community wanted. The first barbecue of the year has already taken place, with many more to follow hopefully. We'd like to give a big thank you to all those involved from Axis, as without their support this would not have been possible.
