A welcome from RRT

We're a group of tenants that work together as a key partnership group with Red Kite. We're consulted on key service changes, help to shape decisions, and share our recommendations for consideration with the Red Kite Board. We're all committed to ensuring that we continue to receive great services and that residents remain at the heart of Red Kite.

We make sure that the views of tenants are shared with staff and the board so that we can truly help shape what the organisation does.

Being part of a community organisation, who have their tenants at the heart at what they do is a great feeling. Most recently we’ve seen how Red Kite has ensured that tenants are supported and protected during the COVID-19 crisis, whilst also delivering the key services that are so important to us.

We would encourage anyone who wants to make a positive difference to get involved, and in the meantime you can find out more about the rest of RRT and what we do below.

What we've looked at recently

We're currently working on an anti-social behaviour project and have just completed guidance documents for staff on best practice for reviewing policies. Red Kite supports RRT volunteers by providing an independent coach, digital equipment and ongoing training. We currently have two vacancies for volunteers to join RRT. Virtual working

We’re working virtually at the moment, using email and video calls to engage with our residents. This means that you’ll need access to the internet and a device, such as a computer or tablet, to meet with us and our network of resident volunteers. 

We know that not everyone has the equipment or confidence to use digital technology. We can provide support, including training and even access to devices to ensure that you can help to shape our organisation from the comfort of home.
