Technical Officers (two posts available)

Salary: £48,739 per annum

We're looking for two Technical Officers to join one of the most important services that we deliver, our repairs and maintenance team. Every day brings its unique set of challenges which need your super technical skills and logical decision-making skills to resolve. This is more than a technically-focused role; it's about tenant engagement and support, and therefore an essential ingredient is loving what you do and smiling when you do it.

You will be responsible for the delivery of day-to-day repairs or minor project-related work intended to protect or improve the homes of our tenants. You will work closely with tenants and Red Kite senior managers and staff to deliver excellent, cost-effective building maintenance and improvement services. You will be readily available and eager to assist tenants in a range of different scenarios, using your technical skill and experience to ensure that our tenants are kept safe and their homes are well maintained.

Interim Assistant Contracts Manager - up to 6 months

Salary: £40,010 per annum

Our Property Pod is a hive of activity, responsible for delivering a range of services through our Home Safety, Asset Management and Responsive Repairs and Empty Homes teams. You will provide support to teams delivering the full range of works but will have a focus on the Responsive Repairs and Empty Homes contract. Every day brings its unique set of challenges which need effective contract management and logical decision-making skills to resolve.

Your main responsibility will be supporting the Repairs Manager in day-to-day contract management and administration of both responsive repair and empty homes service delivery. This include coordinating resources and assisting in case management and reporting of progress on areas such as legal disrepair, insurance works and damp mould and condensation as well as tracking complaints issued to the pod. You will be working closely with tenants, contractors, and Red Kite staff to achieve this.
