Recruiting for Board members
We are looking to recruit two new members of our Board.
Both roles are paid positions; each will receive £6,000 a year.
Red Kite is a tenant-led, not-for-profit, charitable housing association which owns and manages 6,600 homes all within 15 miles of High Wycombe, in the south of Buckinghamshire. Our tenants, leaseholders and shared owners take an active role in everything that we do. It is an enormously exciting time to be joining our Board. We have the group structure and financial resources in place to deliver some exciting plans and are seeking people that can bring experience, leadership, challenge and support to enable us to position our Board to help drive us and to work with us to realise our goals.
We are interested in attracting a range of applicants to maintain a strong skills mix and diversity within our Board. Applicants offering any of the following will be particularly welcomed:
- Leadership
- Business management
- Interest in our communities
- Customer services
- Finance
- Property and development.
Successful candidates might come from a range of sectors but will bring a commitment to make a real contribution to Red Kite.
Candida Dutiro
Tenant Board Member on our Group Board
“Being a tenant Board member is about influence where it matters most, inside the decision-making process.
"I bring lived experience and evidence from our communities, and I use both to challenge, support, and strengthen the choices we make. I believe this has led to a clearer focus on warmer, safer homes.
"I’d recommend this opportunity to any tenant who wants to see real change. You don’t need a specific background. Your voice, your insight and a willingness to learn are what matter.”
