Red Kite’s 12 Days of Kindness - Terms and Conditions
All applications and nominations must be made by commenting on a Red Kite social media post relating to Red Kite’s 12 Days of Kindness.
Starting on 2nd December and continuing until Thursday 19th December inclusive, on each day from Monday to Thursday the name of an organisation to receive funding from Red Kite’s 12 Days of Kindness will be selected at random from those who have applied or been nominated in response to that day’s social media posts.
Applications/nominations will open each day at 8am with the publication of a post on the Red Kite Community Housing Facebook page and Instagram channel. Applications/nominations will close at 3pm the same day. We aim to announce the name of the organisation chosen to receive that day’s funding before 5pm on the same day.
The chosen organisation will be contacted within 14 days of being selected. If the organisation is unable to be contacted, is unable to accept the funding, or is found to be ineligible, Red Kite Group reserves the right to award the funding to an alternative organisation, drawn in accordance with these terms and conditions.
Organisations receiving funding must make available at a mutually convenient time one or more persons who are willing to give their permission for Red Kite Group to publish (including on the Red Kite website and via social media) photographs and/or video of themselves taken in relation to Red Kite’s 12 Days of Kindness.
Individuals nominating or making an application on behalf of an organisation must be 18 years of age or older.
Funding will only be provided to registered charities or community-based organisations working in the Wycombe district.
Individuals will not be eligible to receive funding through Red Kite’s 12 Days of Kindness.
Organisations who have received funding from the Red Kite Group since 1st January 2024 will not be eligible to receive funding through Red Kite’s 12 Days of Kindness.
Organisations engaged in political activity or activities promoting a religious or political belief will not be eligible to receive funding through Red Kite’s 12 Days of Kindness.
Organisations led by a Red Kite Group staff member will not be eligible to receive funding through Red Kite’s 12 Days of Kindness.
An organisation will only be entered into the day’s draw once Red Kite Group has established its eligibility. If we are unable to do so on the day of application/nomination, the name may be entered into a subsequent day’s draw.
Funding will be provided in the form of a £200 shopping voucher. No cash alternative will be offered.
A maximum of 12 organisations will receive funding from Red Kite’s 12 Days of Kindness.
An organisation may apply to (or be nominated for) Red Kite's 12 Days of Kindness on more than one day, but must do so each day to be eligible for that day’s funding award.
An organisation may only be awarded funding from Red Kite's 12 Days of Kindness once.
A recording will be made of each day's selection of an organisation at random to receive that day's funding. Red Kite Group will make these recordings available to view on request.
It is a condition of application that all decisions made by Red Kite Group in relation to Red Kite’s 12 Days of Kindness are accepted as final and that the applicant agrees to these terms and conditions.
Red Kite’s 12 Days of Kindness is not endorsed, sponsored or administered by Facebook, nor is Facebook associated with Red Kite’s 12 Days of Kindness. Red Kite Group releases Facebook from any responsibility to those participating in Red Kite’s 12 Days of Kindness.
