Greenway Court

We have been busy working through the specifications and plans for work that is due to Greenway Court.

What work are we doing?

  • Replacing windows to communal areas and Red Kite homes
  • Replacing the fascias, and rainwater pipes
  • Installing new soakaways for drainage
  • Replacing the cladding between windows
  • Replacing the main roof
  • Insulating to the new roof and cavity walls
  • Brickwork repairs including repointing and rendering
  • Replacing external handrails
  • Decorating the internal communal areas
  • Replacing the internal communal floor coverings

Contractor announced

Following a tender process to appoint a contractor to carry out the work to Greenway Court, we are pleased to share that Kier Services have been appointed to carry out the work listed above.

Kier have worked with us for the last eight years and have a proven record of delivering successful projects during this time. Kier have a dedicated Resident Liaison Officer (RLO) who will be able to help answer any queries and will visit site throughout the work.

Due to observations received during the leasehold consultation stage, we are reviewing options for the garages and will update you on this soon.

What happens next?

We are now busy working with Kier to arrange a start date, which we hope will be around the middle of May. Before work can start, we need to erect scaffolding to the blocks. This may cause some minor inconvenience, but once it is all in place there will be no access issues during the period of the work, which will take approximately 16 weeks to complete.

We will write to you again before the work begins, confirming the start and ends dates for the work. We will also send a further newsletter half way through the work to update you on progress.

Part of the work includes new flooring and decoration to the internal communal areas. We would like to give you the opportunity to choose your preferred colours for these items. The project team will be in touch to show you colours once work begins on site.
