Our development plans

In light of the current economic situation, resulting in the cost of living crisis, we are reviewing our development programme and what our home-building targets look like. Red Kite Community Housing is committed to the delivery of new, high-quality homes and will be able to update you on our vision for the future soon.

If you have any questions in the meantime, please contact the Development Team on 01494 476100.

Section 106

If you are a developer, landowner, or investor looking for an S106 partner on your site, please get in touch.

We're financially strong, creative and efficient. Our dedicated development team is ready to work with you on affordable housing provision. We aim to turn around offers and formalise bids quickly and seamlessly.

We want to work with developers and landowners to deliver their affordable housing commitments. We are happy to work with you at early stages of the planning process or submit a bid for your affordable provision while you are on site.

If you are looking for a registered social landlord partner, please get in touch with our dedicated S106 Development Manager: amy.sehajpal@redkitehousing.org.uk, or call 01494 476 100.

Surveys near your home

We're committed to providing new, high quality affordable homes for the community and we continue to review all land and sites within our ownership with development potential to deliver our development aspirations.

As part of this ongoing work, we need to carry out various surveys and investigation work. However, we'll always try to notify residents about the work we're undertaking where any disruption is likely, or if the activity is on land near residents' homes.

Generally, information on our intentions will be sent directly those likely to be affected.

New land opportunities

We're constantly seeking out new land opportunities across Buckinghamshire. If you'd like to discuss the options available for your development opportunity or land, we can quickly assess the options and have a 'no-obligation' conversation with you.

Whether it's a joint venture, or direct purchase, we aim to work efficiently and proactively throughout each stage. We're dedicated to providing quality homes that are truly affordable.

Please contact our development team to discuss further: email Amy Sehajpal.

Property guardians

Since 2015, we've been working together with Dot Dot Dot Property, a social enterprise who house 'property guardians' in buildings that would otherwise be empty.

These property guardians are able to provide reliable, flexible, low-cost security for landlords while also volunteering with local charities. By doing so, they are able to reduce the antisocial behaviour (ASB) and crime that empty homes would usually attract and make positive contributions to their local community at the same time. They keep an eye out for things like stealing, littering, and other ASB issues, reporting these directly to the police.
