Santa driving a Land Rover with a Christmas tree in along a street

We're delighted to be supporting a Christmas tree collection scheme being run by two local charities, Child Bereavement UK and Rennie Grove Peace Hospice Care. Their staff and volunteers will be collecting people’s real, used Christmas trees in January 2023, in return for a donation towards these two important causes.

Once the tinsel has been taken down and the decorations packed away, it’s important that real Christmas trees are disposed of properly, and not just dumped, so we’re encouraging our tenants to sign up for this service. If you live in postcode areas HP7, HP8, HP9, HP10, HP11, HP13, SL6, SL7, and SL8, you can register any time before midnight on Friday 6th January 2023 to have your tree collected. Collections will take place between Friday 13th and Sunday 15th January.

High Wycombe-based charity Child Bereavement UK helps children and young people, parents and families to rebuild their lives when a child grieves or when a child dies. Rennie Grove Peace Hospice Care provides specialist palliative care for adults and children through their 24-hour hospice at home service, day services and family support.

The charities are also seeking volunteers to help them with the collections who are able to work a 9am-5pm shift on any of the collection days, and are also seeking help from anyone with an appropriately insured van.
