Our plans to set up a new, charitable company

We recently sent all of our customers a letter about a proposal to offer flexible rents to new tenants, which would be based on their ability to pay. In order to do this, we would set up a new, charitable company, which would not only allow us to provide rents at levels that reflect a person’s ability to pay, but also to be even more tenant-led and manage antisocial behaviour easier, faster and more fairly.

On Thursday 31st August, we invited all of our members to come to our offices for a cinema event, where we screened these plans for a charitable company and asked them to share their feedback. As a member who was not able to attend that event, we’d like to know what you think about our plans which we’ve captured in this video...

As a shareholding member, it is important for us to know what you think about these plans, so please watch this video and then fill out the form that came with the letter we sent you, sending it back to us before the end of Wednesday 13th September, when the consultation on our plans will finish.
