Springboard voting now open
17 March 2020
If you're a member of Red Kite, you're now able to vote for your favourite projects to receive springboard funding.
The springboard fund is all about people and projects that realise potential, create employment opportunities and positively contribute to our neighborhoods.
Many people need that extra bit of help to get them on the road to improving themselves, their communities, or both, and the springboard fund is here to help.
There's three fantastic local projects that are asking for a share of our springboard fund. You can vote for one, two, or all three if you think that they all deserve the money.
Cruse Bereavement Care in High Wycombe has been providing free 1 to 1, group support and information to bereaved children and adults in the local area for over 20 years. Through a team of 30 bereavement volunteers it has supported hundreds of local people when they needed it most. They need funding to expand the team of bereavement volunteers and recruit an administrator.
The Princes Centre
The Princes Centre provides day care facilities to the vulnerable and elderly and those living with dementia and memory issues. It also provides day care to adults with learning disabilities and mental health issues. The funding is needed to run pottery classes for adults with learning difficulties.
Wycombe Women's Aid
Wycombe Women’s Aid is seeking funding to enable four workers to undertake the specialist, nationally recognised qualification Tackling and Preventing Domestic Abuse. The funding would cover both the cost of the qualification itself and travel expenses for all workers.
Voting closes on the 25 March, so log in and vote today.
