Job Club opening time extended

25 September 2018

Our weekly Job Club is going form strength to strength, so we have now extended the opening hours.

Job Club will now take place every Monday from 10am to 4pm, this means we will be able to give even more support to people who need help finding employment in the area.

In addition, on Monday 1st October The National Careers Service is offering two free 1 hour workshops. The first starts at 11am and looks at ‘Identifying Transferable Skills and Barriers to Progression’. The second, which starts at 2pm, explores ‘Finding Training Courses and Funding’.

People attending will also have the opportunity to speak with a qualified careers adviser with any career-related questions  may have.

The Job Club, which is held at Baker House in Baker Street, High Wycombe, is run in conjunction with One Recovery Bucks and the Healthy Living Centre.

Everyone is given the opportunity to use the computer to put together a CV or search and apply for jobs. There is the chance to speak to professionals who can give help and advice on applying for jobs and interview tips. It is also a great time to talk to people in a supportive environment.

Job Club is open to everyone in the district, not just Red Kite customers.

For more information please contact Alison Cobb, Financial Wellbeing Specialist, via or call 01494 476297.
