About Red Kite Community Housing
We're a tenant-led, not for profit, charitable housing association and we own and manage more than 6,700 homes in the Wycombe District. Our Property Pod is a hive of activity, delivering big and exciting programmes of improvement work, as well as responsive day-to-day repair services which make a real impact on the homes of our customers.
As one of the services with which our customers interact the most, this role calls for someone who is passionate about providing really good quality improvements and repairs and who is committed to listening to our customers so that we generate high levels of satisfaction.
About the role
You will be responsible for the delivery of specific planned and cyclical work programmes and major improvement projects, from inception to completion, that protect or improve our assets. You will work closely with our customers, senior managers and staff to deliver excellent and cost-effective building maintenance and improvement services.
With this in mind, we’re looking for a confident, organised and extremely proactive person to join the team as a Project Manager. To be successful, you will be qualified to HNC/HND or equivalent level or have proven relevant experience in a construction related discipline, together with strong technical knowledge about construction and construction-related health and safety. Considerable contract management experience in a similar role is important and you will be able to use your strong negotiating skills to deliver best value services and continuous improvement for our customers, within budget and timescales. We’re looking for a flexible, approachable and confident character with a clear grasp of the challenges facing housing associations, probably gained from experience within the social housing / servicing and maintenance sector.
