Salary £42,300 (37 hours per week)

The Income & Risk Manager leads a team primarily dedicated to pro-actively managing rental income and reducing current and former tenant arrears. Alongside these strong foundations, the role provides leadership and direction to staff who are focused on helping customers prior to and during the start of their tenancy with Red Kite. Whether it’s pre-tenancy support, building relationships with external agencies to best help our customers, or financial and risk assessments, mutual exchanges or new tenancy set ups, this role manages the team responsible for those areas.
It’s important that we get the basics right and maximise the income we receive, but that we also build and sustain true partnerships with our customers and other partners. The Income & Risk Manager will be organised, experienced in housing and income collection, great at managing risk and prioritising, as well as being a motivational people manager.
We are looking for the ideal candidate to provide excellent customer service at all times and to be a “go to” person on welfare reform by adapting our services as required. The successful candidate for this role will be approachable at all times and be able to motivate and inspire a team of ten staff, delegating where required.
