Current use:

This building is a former sheltered scheme which is surplus to our requirement. All of our tenants has been offered alternative accommodation elsewhere and so the building is empty except for property guardians who live in some of the homes to keep an eye on the building.

Proposed use:

We are proposing to demolish the existing building and build 30 new homes; 24 of which will be 1&2 bedroom flats with communal garden and 6no. 3 bed homes with private gardens.


The 24 flats will be for affordable rent and the 6 houses will be for shared ownership. Any profit will be used to help subsidise new affordable homes that we plan to build in the district over the coming years.

We have now been granted planning permission to provide the 30 homes and will begin the process of appointing a build contractor.
