Welfare checks

We've been contacting all our residents living in our schemes, and those we know that are vulnerable, to check-in with them and ensure they're not facing this crisis alone. 

For anyone needing help and support, our team have been working out the best way to provide this either ourselves or through our network of partners.  

Staff volunteers - Tea and Chat

Self isolation can be really hard for those living on their own. We have a team of staff volunteers who are on hand to support loneliness and isolation and to ensure that nobody finds themselves without the help they need. We’re calling these our virtual 'Tea and Chats'.

Tea and chat links our staff volunteers to a small number of residents who would like some regular contact, the idea being that they enjoy a cuppa whilst having a chat.

Food parcels

We're supporting the extension of the services offered by One Can Trust food bank to ensure food parcels are accessible to our most vulnerable residents who are self-isolating. 

We've been delivering twice a week and so far, we've delivered over 250 food parcels.
